I am Davide Ferrilli (MSc Pharm, PG Master in Herbal Medicine, mGPhC, mANP, mGNC).
I am a pharmacist and a nutritional and nutraceutical consultant specialised in herbal medicine and fond of traditional Chinese medicine. Moreover, I also use crystals and essential oils as tools to improve my client's health. I am registered with the GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council), the ANP (Association of Naturopathic Practitioners). and the GNC (General Naturopathic Council).
I have always been interested in the connection between body and mind, and in natural treatments since I was just a child, developing a special attraction for the health and therapeutic properties of medicinal plants.
Exploring the human diversity and improving people’s health has always been a mission for me, therefore I decided to make it my job, earning a Master`s Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2012, and starting working as a pharmacist since then. Over the following years I attended a Post-Graduation Master in Herbal Medicine and achieved a diploma as Nutritional and Nutraceutical Consultant. In addition, I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine for two years to become more capable to personalize my holistic consultations.
I am very focused on the deep connection between emotions and physical health, and I evaluate all the body/mind signs of imbalance by also using tools like pulse and tongue check.
My strong belief in holistic medicine was deeply increased when I was diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2008, and with autoimmune thyroiditis and psoriasis a few years later. On top of that, I had been struggling with depression and mood disorders for many years, and suffered from gut issues for a very long time. Through these experiences, helping myself first and then others through nutrition, supplementation, plants and healthy life-style habits, has become my source of deep joy and my most important commitment in life. I like to think that my current well-being is the best actual proof I can give to validate my method.
I am especially focused on holistically managing the chronic problems I feel closer to my personal history. This includes autoimmune disorders, mood imbalances, and skin and gut issues, but absolutely eager to help anyone who wants to feel better, whatever their situations.
Over the last years, I have been more and more involved in helping women during their menopause, and, unexpectedly, this has become a new committed and super interesting mission in my job.
In all these situations, I always combine my role as a pharmacist and as a holistic consultant/supplementation expert. Therefore, I am very mindful about the possible negative or positive interactions between natural remedies and pharmaceutical medications, when present.

I called my method PEF (PERSONALIZATION, EMPOWERMENT, FLEXIBILITY).
My aim is to give you an extreme personalized nutrition, supplementation and life-style support (PERSONALIZATION), while teaching you how to listen to your body's needs, and make you become independent and self-reliant for your own health (EMPOWERMENT). I also propose a flexible diet structured on your daily and weekly routine, your life conditions, and your will to put effort in, through a proactive and deep interaction with you (FLEXIBILITY).
We will work as a team. I will be there to support you in this journey and give you all the correct and tailored tools to guide you with your new holistic health plan. At the end of our journey, you will be naturally able to assess what is right and what is wrong for your health in your daily life with a flexible attitude.
Please remember that balance and supported autonomy are the key to get and maintain great and consistent results over time.
My most important concern, especially when dealing with people with chronic issues, is to balance and strengthen their holistic health instead of focusing on their problem(s).
According to Eastern medicine, the same disorder could be due to different causes. Everyone is different and so are their body/mind needs and their general bio-energetic situation.
My intervention aims to be extremely tailored to you and personalized at the maximum level, evaluating thoroughly all the signs that your body gives you, through both general questions and pulse and tongue check according to Traditional Chinese Medicine rules.
I will also consider in great detail your issues in a Western medicine perspective, evaluating all the scientific triggers for your condition, and finding the best nutritional and nutraceutical support that can help you, while being very careful about all the possible interactions between medications and supplements.
You are a universe and optimal health means body/mind balance.
The best way to perceive and maintain our well-being is feeling it through our body. This means that when you start to feel better you will naturally tend to strengthen good habits in a domino-like effect, and will easily begin to consciously perceive the difference between feeling good and feeling bad.
Over time, with my help, you will become aware of both what triggers your problematic issues and what instead makes you feel good. You will start to take on the responsibility and the joy of taking care of yourself in a holistic way.
This empowering process is the most important key for your health, especially when dealing with chronic issues.
The best and consistent results for a holistic plan can be clearly seen and easily kept over time only when the requirements of flexibility, practicality and persistence are met. These aspects are vital in order to achieve a consistent state of well-being.
Anything in the universe has a positive and a negative side. This balance is called YIN and YANG synergy. Therefore, when nurturing new good habits, it is crucial to consider and to give room also to the "bad" ones. It’s just a matter of balance, nothing must be eliminated.
That’s why all my holistic plans include room for “comfort” foods and are never strict. Giving up on bad habits takes time and must be something natural. That’s exactly why most of the diets are not successful. Our brain needs some treats sometimes !
Scheduling them in a weekly planned and flexible way is the key to transform your diet into a healthy and joyful daily nutrition plan that can be followed for a long time.
